Floyd Mayweather made an appearance in California to watch the “Golden Boy” Oscar De La Hoya take on Steve “2-Pounds” Forbes.

De La Hoya won almost every round of the fight against the former super-featherweight champion. He failed to get the knock out everyone was waiting to see though. Letting the fight go all the way to the end and winning via decision.

The question now is, “Does De La Hoya deserve the chance to take on Floyd Mayweather again?” After the fight he gave to Forbes that night I don’t think he does. He was hit so many times and came away ‘Bruised’. No doubt if Forbes had the power within him the fight could have been a total opposite to everyone’s expectations.

If De La Hoya takes his chances and decides to fight Mayweather I think we all know how it would turn out, Mayweather included. Floyd would accept the fight against an even easier opponent than before, bringing a halt to Oscar’s quest in beating him in front of all his beloved fans.
