Brian & Devin won! Brian is now 3 & 0, Devin got his first win. As I said after the last tournament, all the fighters are amazingly talented. When our guys reach ‘Open Division’, it’s going to be a battle.

Trevor Kotar and Phillip Villarreal did not get matched up.

These last 2 weeks Joe has been training me with kettlebells. I sure wish I knew about them back in my powerlifitng days. They are absolutely the best kind of workout. Talk about working the entire body. I kid you not, I had no idea what a total body workout they are. It is a very aggressive workout, you do have to have full concentration to not hurt yourself, as you get to swinging them.

Irongloves using them for our fighters too. They would 100% accentuate any sport. They are a bit expensive to buy just for home use, but worth it. Target sells really nice ones (w/coated bottoms) . If any of our Irongloves members have not done the kettlebell workout yet, have your coach put you through a lesson, you will feel like a superman!

Our guys are all looking good. We are very excited about this bout. We have never competed over at Central Boxing Club before. It is a huge place.

So very sad, his daughter has been classified as brain dead, she is now on life support. Over the weekend, she got tangled up in a cord connected to the treadmill. The little 4 year old name is Exodus. You can read the whole story over at> Fox News – channel 10

by Renene…. Let us all remember what this day is all about, it isn’t about tubing down the river and getting drunk. Many use the holiday as a friendly get together by having a picnic. Whatever you choose to do today, we must remember, to never forget our soldiers! Today is all about the lives that were lost. They gave their lives for our FREEDOM.

To my most wonderful husband, Joe Leinhauser…. most you don’t know this, because he NEVER speaks of his past… Joe served in Desert Storm, he is a Veteran. I just wish to say to you Joe, I am so proud of you. You are the most upstanding, honorable person I have ever known. You have always lived by a ‘Code of Honor’, and you have helped so many. I am grateful to have you as my husband, these last 17 years (of marriage) have been incredible. So, I take this day to say, “Thanks for serving our Country”, and thanks to the all the veterans at Irongloves and all over the great USA.
