I knew the first time I talked with Joe on the phone about my membership that Joe was a leader of good moral standards whose position determines the movements of others by directly having a positive influence on the course of action of everyone that enters Irongloves Boxing.

For the last four weeks I have been training with Joe, and I got to tell you I look forward to every minute that I am in the gym, and in 57 years I have never trained as hard and it’s worth every minute of work that Joe and I put in to it.

I don’t know any of the other trainers yet and only a few of the other Irongloves members but I’m starting to feel and see the same family relationship I have in the law enforcement community, which is a bond that lasts a lifetime.

So to you Joe and Renene I pledge my allegiance and look forward to continuing a long and exciting relationship with Irongloves Boxing.

The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.”

Good character is more to be praised than outstanding talent. Most talents are, to some extent, a gift from God. Good character, by contrast, is not just given to us. We build it, piece by piece – by thought, choice, courage, and determination. And that’s exactly what Joe has done. His character is an enduring source of virtue. It stands by itself and incites admiration in those that know him. Myself included.

I know the behind the scenes of irongloves and can say that what you have written is bang on the money. The morals and principals that Joe practises are very inspiring to me. You both care so much for your members and would stand by anyone in need too. You have built up that unique atmosphere at irongloves because of the people you both are. Well said Renene !
