Friday Night Fights 6/19/09 Jean Pascal won by decision, approx by a 3-4 point lead, Pascal is the NEW “WBC Light Heavy Weight Champion” of the WORLD. It was an incredible fight. Neither fighter let up for a second. Adrian Dainconu never broke his rhythm, just kept coming forward like an locomotive, and man, does he hit hard. It wasn’t enough to beat the ever so crafty Pascal. Pascal worked the body like a madman, hit jabs cut straight through like a knife. His double jab is lightening fast.
Pascal did it all, there is no catching him, his speed is unstoppable. Jean told me if he won the world title that he would be back to Irongloves to train for his next fight. Let’s hope he goes after Kelly “the Ghost” Pavlick. That would be the next best thing to Ward and Gatti.
