Police accuse 23 year old wife of killing 37 year old Gatti. So far the investigation seems to lay out, that she strangled him with her purse strap while he drunkenly slept. A very sad day in the boxing world. Gatti found dead in Brazil, in his hotel room, no bullet or stab wounds on his body, but police did find blood stains on the floor…. He and wife were on their 2nd honeymoon with their 1 year old son.

We had a lovely day at Irongloves. I handed out snacks and gatorade. Have to say, Lisa and I ate a lot of the goodies (heehee)… brownies & pumkin cookies, yum. Tony and Chris took the day off. It was me, Joe, Larry, and Kirby tearing up the black mats. The next holiday isn’t until Labor Day, in this heat of 110 degrees, that seems very far away.

Austin will be in the house this Tues July 7th. He is shipping out to report to BUDS training, Navy Seal class #280. Many of you remember him, he was with Irongloves for several years, he is featured on several of my videos. He started off with me as a young man, he is now all grown up and heading off to serve our country.
