Man, my apologies. I just haven’t had the time to take the photos like I promised. I guess we had so many people waiting in the wings for the 14th for when the new side opened up, that since Monday we’ve had an explosion of new people join. Irongloves has been jamming up a storm.

The place is huge now, it’s killing us to not have our photos up yet to share with everyone. I will try hard to do so today or tomorrow.

DON’T FORGET, WE HAD A BRAND NEW AIR CONDITIONING UNIT INSTALLED.

Sure, boxers like to work up a sweat when they train, but there’s no need to suffer in this Arizona heat, which by the way, it is still 104 degrees out.

Stay nice and cool at our gym, so that you can focus on your training, and not on the possibility of passing out from heat stroke.

It is Saturday night approx 9:00pm, the graffiti artist got it all completed. After 4 grueling days, it is ALL done. We can’t wait for all to see it, it turned out spetacular!   I can’t wait to post pictures, I might just take a video of it all tomorrow.

Tomorrow, the Bose stereo sound sytem is being installed.

The graffiti artist starting doing his work yesterday, his name is Neufang. He is amazing. I mean Joe and I had a vision of how we wanted the artwork to go, but Neufang has gone beyond our wildest dreams. Do you all remember the giant gorilla that is World’s Gym logo, remember how huge the gorilla was on the wall? Wait till you see our giant logo, you won’t believe your eyes. Then wait till you see all the ‘boxing tagging’ he is doing, it’ll give you goosebumps. I can honestly say… Irongloves will be the talk of the town, we are just so darn excited to see it all come to life.

From the way it’s all going, come Monday the new side will be ready to be used. All the new bags won’t be arriving until next Friday the 18th. The monstrous rack that’s going to hold all the heavy bags is still at the fabricators and should be done being built mid next week. Wait until you see the awesome heavy bags Joe ordered — surprise, surprise.

Jerry Smith got a new dog from the animal shelter. Named him Bandit. Jerry’s story is a sad one, but it did end on a happy note.

He recently lost his old time friend, his precious dog, to health problems. Jerry is like us and so many animal lovers, his dogs are his whole life. Well, when Pebbles passed away a few weeks ago, his other dog named Rosy stopped eating and just sat in the corner. Nothing Jerry did, walks, played, talked to Rosy, could snap her out of the sorrow of losing her best friend. Rosy had no desire to live, she stopped eating, only to nibble on very few bits here and there. The doctor told Jerry that Rosy wouldn’t make it if she didn’t start eating.

As much pain that Jerry felt in losing Pebbles, he hardly could bare to get another dog. He realized he had to do it for Rosy, he had to save Rosy’s life! So, Jerry took Rosy to the animal shelter and let her visit with different dogs. She seem to take a liking to the boy dog. He was frisky and full of vinegar. Jerry brought him home and named him Bandit. Guess what, by the 2nd day Rosy started to eat again. She started showing Bandit around the house, she now seems to have another reason to live. He says that Rosy acts like a big sister to Bandit.

The pain of losing a pet is unbearable. You always say you will never put yourself through such pain again… but you know what… if you are an animal lover, you just can’t live without them. You are a good man Jerry!

This is Bandit. You can just tell by his eyes, he is going to be a cute little devil dog.
