If Manny continues to disrespect his coach, my prediction is — Freddy will finish training him for the Cotto fight, then Freddy will resign.

Yes, the fights were canceled, because the doctor did not show up. After making the fighters wait for almost 3  hours, they made the annoucement that fights were canceled, the doc was MIA (missing in action). Sad, because it was a super big turn out of fighters.

We really wish to thank all the Irongloves members that came to watch. Thank you and very sorry. We sure hope to see you all at next fight.

I had the pleasure to interview professional boxer, a very fine gentleman, an incredible athlete, a boxing champ, Mr. Travis Walker. We will miss you Travis, good luck come December, Irongloves will be rooting for you!

Have you heard of www.DonorsChoose.org ? It’s a website where Poverty Schools list their needs for certain supplies for their classes/students. I learned about the website on Channel 15 News tonight. It just touched my heart to hear how tough our teachers and schools have it. Such a crime I feel to let our schools suffer.

When you go to the site, look towards the top right and click on the blue link> See Projects. Please do click through a few pages to see what simple items they are requesting. You can make a big difference by donating only $45. You can even select your home state.

Whoever came up with this idea for such a website, kudos to them. With all the education cut-backs, teachers had to get creative I suppose. What a grand idea to come to us, the public, for help.

For the holidays coming up, think with your heart, don’t spend foolishly, why not give to something like this. And as always, let us not forget to occasionally donate to our local Humane Society for those beloved pets.
