Manny Pacquiao says he is planning to file a defamation lawsuit against Floyd Mayweather Jr., the fighter’s father, and Golden Boy Promotions

In a statement posted Friday on his Web site, Pacquiao claims that his character has been damaged and tarnished by accusations he says are untrue.

“Enough is enough,” Pacquiao said in the statement. “These people, Mayweather Sr., Jr., and Golden Boy Promotions, think it is a joke and a right to accuse someone wrongly of using steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs. I have tried to just brush it off as a mere pre-fight ploy but I think they have gone overboard.”

This time a year I get calls as to what ounce gloves to buy. Here are some guidelines:
Men weighing up to 160lbs: 10 oz. – 12oz.
Men weighing up to 200lbs: 12 oz. – 14oz.
Men weighing over 200lbs: 14oz. – 16oz.
Women, petite to small body frame: 10 oz.
Women, regular to large body frame: 12 oz. – 14oz.
Women with very large frame: 14 oz.

The Everlast Gloves you find at your local stores like Sports Authority, Sports Chalet, Big 5, are so-so to start out with. They sell for approx $40. These gloves don’t have much protection, padding wise, and they won’t last that long. It is only when you purchase gloves from www.Ringside.com or www.TitleBoxing.com is when you get better quality, with stronger type padding, lasting longer. Here are some good gloves on sale for only $29.99>> Top Contender Hook & Loop

Not boxing related I know, but just wanted to get the word out there about a problem that most of us never even thought of…
Yes, a dog can break their neck if they shake their toys to vigorously. One of our members, it happened to her small dog. In her case, the dog’s neck was whipped so bad, that he was paralyzed. She had to put him down. The vet said it’s more common in small breads, but that it can happen to large dogs as well.

So please be careful when playing with your buddy, don’t get them too worked up over the toy. One of our little dogs gets obsessed over his toys and is a big time shaker. We are going to re-train him on how not to get too aggressive when playing.

TMN.com— This website is incredible. I have been using them for years. At first the site looks like a train wreck, kinda confusing to find your way around it. Just take time to familiarize yourself. It’s the forum is where you want to vest time, there you will get a true education on what’s happening in the supplement world. They talk the true grit of it all, nothing left unturned.

What is great about T-Nation, through their investigations/research, they have busted many supplement frauds out there. They tell you what really works and what is a waste of money.
