Dec 6, 2011, two days shy of his 54th birthday, George Hood broke the existing Plank record of 50 minutes, 11 seconds. He just didn’t break it, he ripped it to shreds —-
George did 1 hour, 20-minute, 5 seconds.

This just happened to my brother… this is him telling the story…Someone withdrew $500 from an ATM from my account.  How in the world did they do it without the card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They must have got my debit card information and pin by placing a scanner on the gas pump I used.  Fortunately, the bank reimbursed me the next day and I got a new card.  There are also scanners out there to scan your card while in your wallet and pocket.  You can now buy wallets that protect you from that.  Or, put your credit cards in tin foil for the time being.

Also, always use a debit card as credit and never use it as debit with pin number.

Read how the thieves do it:

At age 96, Jack LaLanne leaves us. He died of respiratory failure due to pneumonia Sunday afternoon at his home in Morro Bay on California’s central coast.

Our heart felt sentiments to Elaine LaLanne, Lalanne’s wife of 51 years.

He was one of my most favorite people, very sad to see him go. He deserves a star on Hollywood Blvd.

Black ink tattoos are very popular with the Gothic and Tribal look/trend these days. Black tattoo inks are largely made of soot that contains cancer-causing substances called polycystic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAH). German dermatologists from the University of Regensburg found highly levels of PAH in 19 commercially available black tattoo inks.

Skin analysis of people with black ink tattoos showed cellular abnormalities when the skin was bombarded with UVA rays. Black ink tattoos may cause cancer and trigger metabolic abnormalities in the skin cells.     (Experimental Dermatology, 19: e275-e281, 2010)

A 49-year-old retired boxer is trying to pick a $115 million fight with Mike Tyson – claiming “The Hangover” star hijacked his “Iron Mike” nickname 25 years ago.

The other “Iron” man is Mike Landrum — a former professional fighter who claims he coined the nickname “Iron Mike” before he turned pro in 1983. Tyson started fighting professionally in 1985.

Landrum has filed a lawsuit in federal court in Los Angeles, claiming he owns the trademark to the nickname “Iron Mike” — and therefore, Tyson infringed on his rights by using the nickname throughout his boxing career.

Landrum — who’s representing himself in the case — tells us he was “hindered from getting any major title fights or sponsorships because of the name confusion.”

For the record — Landrum’s record was 6-4 as a pro.

TMZ spoke with Tyson’s rep Tammy Brook who tells us, “Mike’s legal team hasn’t seen the paperwork yet, but they are confident the case holds no merit.”

WHAT AN AWESOME IDEA. THE BEST TRAINER IN THE WORLD, HIS OWN SHOW!

Source: Television Blend — www.cinemablend.com
by Mack Rawden

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the still-untitled series will follow brilliant boxing trainer Freddie Roach as he battles Parkinson’s and continues to work with some of the greatest boxing talents fighting today. For those of you who don’t follow boxing, it may be a little unclear just how brilliant and talented Freddie Roach is. The fifty year old has overseen the training of numerous world champions from current pound for pound best in the world Manny Pacquiao to UFC legend Anderson Silva. He is a god in the world of boxing, and just last week when a video surfaced of contender Antonio Margarito mocking his shaking hands, the majority of the boxing community responded with outrage.

While it may seem like a copout for networks to enter into the reality game, tapping someone of Roach’s stature in the midst of a serious health scare and the training of the world’s best fighter has to be considered a stroke of genius. Newscaster and boxing fanatic Jim Lampley has also signed on to produce, likely putting to rest any questions of authenticity. Ring the bell, you pansies. I can’t wait.

Dec 7th Floyd Mayweather has been charged with criminal battery in Nevada for allegedly — and this is serious — poking a man in the cheekbone with his finger … TMZ has learned.

TMZ has obtained the criminal complaint — in which cops say a private security officer named Shayne Smith told officers Mayweather went ballistic outside of his Las Vegas home on November 15 after Smith placed parking citations on two of Floyd’s cars.

Floyd Mayweather exclusive Floyd Mayweather exclusive

According to the documents, Smith alleges Mayweather screamed that the guard had “no f*cking business” touching his personal property — before the boxer grabbed a citation from one of his cars and slapped it on Smith’s patrol vehicle.

The document continues, “While lambasting Smith, Mayweather was allegedly jabbing his finger into the left side of Smith’s cheek just below his eye. This willful and unlawful use of force and violence upon Smith caused redness and discoloration to the area which was battered by Mayweather.”

Smith claims he drove out of the area to “de-escalate” the situation, immediately notified his boss … and then took photos of his bruised up cheek.

So far, no comment from Floyd’s camp.
