 THIS IS AN AWESOME SHOW!!!
Saving abused Pit Bulls one at time. I felt compelled to write about it after watching tonight’s episode about a Pit Bull that was being abused by a teenage punk shooting it with a paint ball gun, the poor dog had welts all over it’s body.

If you haven’t seen the show yet, then please check it out. It comes on Animal Planet, Saturday nights. Shorty Rossi the “Pit Boss” & owner of “Shortywood“, his love for animals, Shorty devotes his life & time rescuing abused Pit Bulls. His crew rescue absolutely steal your heart. The do so much for the dogs. The show is a little hard to watch at times, the abuse that these poor creatures endure by another human being makes you ill. Thank God for you Shorty.

To all of Irongloves followers, I am asking you all out there to find it in your heart to make a donation, any amount, even $5 to help them out over there in Hollywood. Here is the link to Shorty’s website>> shortywood.com

Irongloves wants to give a high five to rest of the cast – Sebastian, Ronald, & Ashley.
We love you guys over here in Tempe, Arizona!

BERLIN – A dog in Germany has given birth to 17 cute puppies, leaving their owner thrilled but exhausted after having to feed them with a bottle for several weeks as their mother couldn’t cope with the demand.

Ramona Wegemann says she barely slept for more than a couple of minutes without interruption during about four weeks in an “exhausting” struggle to make sure all 17 would survive.

She said Monday that when she was “finished feeding the last puppy, the first was hungry again.”

Wegemann’s Rhodesian Ridgeback gave birth to eight female and nine male puppies on Sept. 28 in Ebereschenhof near Berlin.

Wegemann, an animal psychiatrist, said when dogs give birth to so many puppies several of them die within the first week. “But all of our puppies survived. This is incredible and wonderful.

We filmed 15 of our female members to demonstrate how well they box & how well we teach. We want to show how the women are trained just like the guys, meaning they learn it all. Often they aren’t taken seriously, you will see for yourself just how tough our girls are. Women are not treated like foo-foos at Irongloves, they learn bag work, mitt work, footwook, defense, etc., they are trained like a real boxer. You will see why the movie stars use boxing a few months out from shooting a movie to get in shape.

The video should be done in 2 weeks. It will be posted here on the blog & on the website. Stay tuned, you are in for a real treat!

Over 5,500 auto accidents caused by texting and/or just being on the bloody cell phone in general. The report didn’t state how many deaths as a result. However, it did say that texting will become more of a killer than Drunk driving. PLEASE DO NOT TEXT WHEN DRIVING!

If you are thinking about getting a pet, PLEASE find it in your heart to adopt one this weekend.

The Arizona Humane Society is at maximum capacity — there are too many pets that need homes — so they’re offering a special reduced adoption fee. They cannot accept any more animals, and have been taking in over 100 cats and kittens a day.

The overpopulation problem is blamed on breeding season and the suffering economy. But there’s a way to adopt on a budget — with a cash donation.

The deal is going on Saturday and Sunday, and is available at all locations.
